How Much Would You Pay for Used Panties, Stockings, or Lingerie?

Believe it or not, selling women’s pre-worn, unlaundered underwear is a big and growing business here on the internet.

Women who are willing to indulge this rather unusual “fetish” are setting up personal websites, naming their own prices, and mailing their dirty panties to anyone who wants them.

Although this may be the first time you’re hearing about “panty fetishism”, it’s been around for quite a while - probably for as long as women have worn undergarments.

What Exactly is Panty Fetishism?

There seems to be two main parts to this fetish: the sexualization of women’s underwear itself and the sexual enjoyment derived from the used underwear.

The first part refers to the fact that panty-lovers would rather see women in their panties than out of them. The panty, or other intimate female garment, is a fetish object that is the source of sexual arousal. Without the panty, the woman loses her sexual appeal, either partly or completely.

The second part refers to the enjoyment people, mostly men, derive from smelling, licking, fondling, and/or masturbating with the dirty panties.

But before you write this off as a truly “weird” and incomprehensible fetish, think about this:

Of course, not all panty fetishists care about who wore the panties, and there certainly does not have to be an emotional connection between the fetishist and the panty wearer for the fetishist to get sexual pleasure from the underwear.

However some fetishists are very loyal, and only the scent of their beloved will do.

How Much Does a Normal Used Panty Cost?

Like most things, the price of a used panty depends on many factors:

1) How long they’ve been worn…

2) Their fabric and style…

3) If they come with or without pictures of the woman wearing them…

4) Whether or not the woman was sexual (masturbated) while wearing them.

For example, one UK site** varies its panty price between 26 and 36 pounds (roughly $50-$70). The lower range is for panties that were “squirted” on (via female ejaculation at orgasm) but have no accompanying pictures and were not worn prior to the squirting. The higher range is for panties that were worn for 24 hours, have pictures, and were “squirted” on.

I’ve also found U.S. based sites that offer panties for as low as $20 and as much as $500!

Panty Fetishists in Japan

No where is it more widely accepted than in Japan. According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, the business of panty fetishism is widespread. In fact, the market for used panties is established enough to warrant actual legislation.

“Burusera shops in Japan sell used girl panties… The clothes are often accompanied by genuine photos of the girls wearing them. The clients are Japanese men who smell or otherwise experience the panties for sexual stimulation. Vending machines were once used to sell packaged used panties…

…Underage schoolgirls participate in sale of their used panties, either through burusera shops or using mobile phone sites to sell directly to clients.

When laws banning the purchase of used underwear from under-18s were introduced in Tokyo in 2004, it was reported that some underage girls were instead allowing their clients (called kagaseya or sniffers) to sniff their underwear from directly between their legs. Others chose to sell photos of themselves, throwing in the used panties for free.” (Wikipedia)

There are so many disturbing things packed into those few sentences that I’d like to go through them one by one.

First - Used Panty Vending Machines?!

I questioned there existence too, so went searching the internet for further proof.

Unfortunately, I didn’t come up with anything conclusive. Many people believe these vending machines to be an urban legend. Other people who live in or have been to Japan claim that although these machines were banned in 1993, they are still available for people “in the know”.

But if they do exist, I wonder how long it’ll be before these eyebrow-raising machines make their way onto the streets of sexually conservative American towns…

Second - Teen Girl Panties?!

Offering up dirty women’s panties to adult fetishists is one thing, but isn’t there something very pedophilic about selling panties worn by underage girls to adult men for their sexual and masturbatory pleasures?

OK, so it’s certainly not as bad as actual pedophilia since these girls are not being touched or abused, but lusting after their panties isn’t much better.

Third - Pictures of Teen Girls Wearing Their Panties?!

Now we’ve entered real problem territory. Half naked pictures of teen girls being exchanged for money is usually a very big No-No in any part of the developed world.

It seems strange that the law cited above prevents these entrepreneurial young women from selling their panties, but the pictures of them wearing their panties are still being sold? That wasn’t included in the overall ban?

To answer this, I poked around for more information on Japanese porn/sex laws and found that since 2003 Japan has enacted very serious laws regarding sex with minors - including child pornography.

Apparently teen girls are notorious for selling “indecent” pictures of themselves via their cell phones and police are having a very hard time prosecuting everyone involved. I guess it’s less risky to sell your pictures than your undies…

Forth - Sniffing Panties from Between Their Legs?!

Although this might be a fun and sexy thing to do with your own adult lover, sniffing the underwear of underage girls while they are wearing said underwear crosses what ever flimsy line of propriety there might have otherwise been for this fetish.

No matter how “hands off” it might be, this is not a healthy thing to do!

And speaking of health…

What are the Health Risks of Panty Sniffing?

Simply put - Not Many - if you’re just sniffing.

If you’re licking, rubbing, and fondling the dirty duds there’s still very little risk involved.

Most sexually transmitted infections and viruses don’t last very long once outside of the body. Both HIV and herpes viruses can survive little more than a few minutes, so by the time you get around to “enjoying” the undies any such microbes would be dead.

However there still might be other bacteria-based concerns that you should be aware of. (For example there are many different kinds of bacteria that live in and around the anus that could cause you to become very ill if ingested, but this is another discussion altogether. If you are a panty fetishist I advise you to thoroughly look into these possible health risks).
