It’s become a regular staple of male-oriented pornography - the cum shot. Affectionately known as the “money shot” the image of a man ejaculating on a woman’s body, usually her face or breasts, is one of the most prized among men and despised among women.
The Sociology:
Feminists of all varieties argue that it’s degrading and humiliating to women, and that the male preoccupation with these shots stems from a lack of masculine sexual confidence in a world where women are taking control of their own sexualities as well as their lives. In a very physically visual way, cum-shots allow men to regain the “upper-hand” and to once again put women “in their place” - typically on her knees (powerless) and waiting for the man to orgasm (submissive) while completely ignoring her own sexual pleasure (historically expected).
Making it Even Worse:
As if having one man ejaculate on one woman wasn’t degrading enough, there’s a fetish-like trend of underground Bukkake films. In these films many men ejaculate, either simultaneously or one after the other, on one woman. It’s very much like the more “traditional” (ha!) “gang-bang” scenarios. According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, Bukkake films originated in Japan and quickly found their way into U.S. adult markets where they’ve silently flourished ever since the 1970s.
The Controversy: Some women LIKE it!
Despite the strong feminist arguments against cum-shots, there are many people who claim cuming on their lover’s various body parts, or having their lover cum on them, has nothing to do with culture, sociology, or gender power struggles - it’s just hot!
In the heat of the moment it turns them both on and makes for a very exciting sexual experience. Many pro-feminist men will, in the privacy of their bedrooms, ejaculate on their esteemed female parters (be it a wife, girlfriend, etc.) and will continue to hold them in the highest regard. Good question.
I have never understood the notion about “cum-shot humiliation”, but maybe that’s just me. I respect women. For me it’s just something we like to do from time to time, to have something different than the usual cum-inside. I like to look at the act, she likes the feeling. Pretty simple and enjoyable. I think it definitely makes a difference what body part is being cum upon…namely, I really hate facial shots. I don’t know why, but to me that seems very degrading–like the guy couldn’t take a moment to aim in her mouth. I don’t know why, but facial shots have always made me uncomfortable.
